Woodworth Memorial Park is named for C. Allen Woodworth "in appreciation for his contribution to the quality of life on Norwell and his untiring support of youth recreation programs." Mr. Woodworth served as president of Norwell Little League from 1974 to 1979. He served as a coach in the program from 1971 to 1983.

2006 marks the 50th consecutive year of continuous affiliation with Little League Baseball©. Norwell Little League has received their Gold Certificate of Charter. It is proudly on display at the Snack Bar.
