| | | Our program depends on the commitment and dedication of many volunteers. Occasionally, some of those volunteers go above and beyond. While we applaud all of volunteers, the following have earned a "Standing O" from Norwell Little League for their extraordinary efforts. | | | | |
| May 1, 2006 | Our complex was greatly improved this past weekend. On April 29 & 30 starting at 5:30 AM both days and staying throughout the morning, Joe Lamperelli lent his manpower and equipment to level the area around the snack bar and driveway and to spread several truckloads of gravel. His efforts greatly added to the safety of the complex as well as improved the overall look. Joe and wife Paulette, have three players in three leagues - Nicolette-Senior League, Joey-Major League and Jeffrey - College League. Joe is in the energy business. His company, Supreme Energy. is located in Weymouth, MA. Thanks Joe! | | May 18, 2006 | Thanks to the Seoane Family, we have a much smoother ride when entering the Little League Complex. Dave Seoane (without ever being asked) used his own landscaping equipment to smooth out some of the pot-holes in the unpaved portion of the entrance to the Little League Complex. This is the second year in a row that he has taken it upon himself to get this done. Dave and his wife, Sue have two sons, Dave and Mike. Dave is the Minor League while Mike is in the Farm league. Seoane Landscape Design and Garden Center is located in Abington. We appreciate the effort! | | June 3,2006 | Thank you to Roberta Colby for making a BJs run to restock the Snack Bar. Roberta didn't mind the wet and windy weather on Saturday. Thanks to her efforts, favorites like sunflower seeds, Nerds and Laffy Taffy are once again available. | | June 12, 2006 | Thank you to Lizzie and Katie Tavares (Norwell High School students) for organizing our inventory of t-shirts. They counted the t-shirts, organized them by size, placed them into to plastic containers and delivered them to the Snack Bar for storage.Thank you ladies!! |
